This was a self-directed mural I made for Paint Jam in Borehamwood. I used it as a chance to explore more abstract elements while still working with the colour palette and botanical shapes that run through my practice.
The piece focuses on layering and how shapes interact with each other. Each layer builds on the last to create movement and depth across the wall. I approached it quite intuitively, allowing the composition to develop naturally as I painted.
It was created on site and carries a sense of play and experimentation. This project reflects how I use mural spaces to push ideas forward while keeping a consistent visual language.
