SCULPTURAL MURAL
This large-scale sculptural mural explores colour, form, and space through a series of interlocking wooden elements. It sits somewhere between a painting and a wall-based sculpture, designed to be experienced from different angles.

Each shape is cut, painted, and assembled by hand, creating a layered surface where light and shadow shift throughout the day. The mix of soft curves and geometric forms creates a sense of movement across the wall, balancing bold colour with a calm, architectural feel.

Installed directly onto the wall, the piece responds to its surroundings. Up close, the wood grain and surface texture are visible; from a distance, it reads as one cohesive composition.

The work continues my interest in pushing painting beyond a flat surface, using colour and form to create something more spatial and immersive.
