Mural on the Berlin Wall, Berlin, 2024​​

An independent mural experimenting with shading and more realistic figurative forms, created using freehand spray paints. 

​

This mural was painted on a remaining section of the Berlin Wall. I approached it with a strong, graphic composition that could hold its own within such a historically charged and visually layered site.

​

The design uses bold colour and simplified forms to create something contemporary while still responding to the texture and weight of the wall itself. I was conscious of the surface, the history and the existing marks, allowing the piece to sit within that context rather than compete with it.
